We invite you to a transformational and exclusive wellness & yoga retreat experience in the heart of the tranquil Tuscan countryside. Nestled between the river Arno and the hills of Chianti, it is also called the Porta del Chianti, which means the door of Chianti, as it is situated on the doorstep of this beautiful region, famous worldwide for its delicious wines.
The *Agriturismo Valleverde is situated in Valdarno, at the very centre of the triangle formed by Florence, Arezzo and Siena. It is located in a beautiful valley with a landscape typical of the Chianti area and is the perfect place for restoring your inner peace. *The word agriturismo is a combination of the Italian words agricoltura (agriculture) and turismo (tourism).
The Retreat, hosted by Dionne James, will provide the space needed to pause, reflect and deeply enquire within your body and mind. Take your understanding and practice of yoga to new levels.
Mornings begin with dynamic, alignment-based vinyasa flow yoga. Afternoons include restorative yoga where poses are supported and held for longer periods of time. Be expertly guided, get personal corrections and adjustments, learn breathing techniques to improve your practice, boost you energy and calm your nervous system.
Guided group health coaching sessions will tap into your inner strengths in order to identify, prioritise and create lasting sustainable steps to move you forward to achieving your long-term health and wellness goals.

Welcome to the vast world of essential oils, one of earth’s powerful resources. Learn what they are and ways to use them. A more natural approach to everyday life, aid taking control of your health & freeing you and your family from the toxic load that weighs so heavy on many of us.
A beneficial way to express inner thoughts, feelings and reduce stress without use of words. Painting can positively enhance our emotional and cognitive wellbeing whilst actively helping us to better understand and make sense of our mental health.
San Giovanni Valdarno is one of the main towns in the Arezzo region and is located halfway between Arezzo and Florence. Surrounded by hills and mountains, San Giovanni Valdarno has maintained it’s medieval appearance, with the typical urban shape of the so-called “new lands”. At the centre is a large piazza and all around are shaded porticoes defining the streets. San Giovanni offers art lovers more than a few attractions, including churches, museums and cultural centres.
Poggi del Chianti Winery is a farm personally managed by its owners. 5th generation wine & oil maker, it is a great place for learning and wine & oil tasting. Their biological products are: Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Wines Supertuscan Chianti and Chianti Classico D.O.C.G.

You will be served three meals per day. The breakfast buffet features a wide variety of fresh fruit, seeds, nuts, dried fruit, yogurts, cereals (gluten-free also). A classic Italian style healthy lunch and dinner.

If you opt for the train you can get a train from Florence or Rome to San Giovanni Valdarno.
We can arrange pick-ups from San Giovanni Valdarno train station.

Application Process
*Please read our Terms & Conditions below for our policy on payment, cancellations and refund.
Cancellation by Client
If you cancel prior to 8 weeks before the start of the retreat, we will refund you 50% of the full retreat fee.
If you cancel less than 4 weeks before the first day of the retreat we are unable to offer you a refund.
If you need to leave the retreat for any reason once the retreat has started, we are unable to offer you a refund or defer your
retreat place.
Cancellation by Dionne James
In the unlikely event of unforeseen circumstances, Dionne James reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the
structure of the retreat at any time. If the retreat is cancelled prior to the start, the retreat may be rescheduled and if Clients
cannot attend the new retreat the 100% refunds will be issued.
Covid 19
Neither full nor partial refunds can be given if cancelling the reservation outside the specified cancellation time.
Photography
We reserve the right to photograph or film during the retreat and use these images for our website and marketing purposes. Please let us know beforehand if you are not comfortable with this.
